Can you believe it is July????

Wow, where does the time go. We have been having the best summer so far. A little on the HOT side, but fun nonetheless. If you are reading this from the southern states, you know what I am talking about. It has been over 100 degrees with the heat index over the past three weeks! WOW -- who knows how hot July and August are going to be.

Griffin is now 19 weeks old and went for his 4 month check up last friday.

Here are his stats:

Height -- 26.5 inches (95%)

Weight-- 15 lbs 11 oz (75%) ~ So what this means, is he is taking after his momma... tall :) hahaha!!! yeah right.

Maddie had her 2 year check up on friday as well.

Here are her stats:

Height-- 34 inches (50%)

Weight-- 25 lbs 6 oz (45%) ~a VERY petite little girl!

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY MADDIE!!!


Just wanted to wish our little girl a Happy 2nd Birthday today! I cannot believe that she is already 2 years old. Wow, how times flies. We have had so much fun with her, she is a such a great little girl. Watching her grow up as just been wonderful. More pictures to come from this weekend and last at her bday party... but for now~

Summer is Here!!!

I cannot believe that it is already June... seriously where does the time go?!? Maddie will be two at the end of the month-- wow!!! I remember every second of her birth. And little Griffin will be 4 months already on the 18th! My babies are growing up too fast :) but we are enjoying every second of it! Here are some pictures from some fun in the hot hot southern sun ~

Beach Trip

Last week we had a great time with our visitors... Grammy, Jiddee, Aunt Meggy, Addison, Anna, Aunt Erin, & Great Mammy! We love having people come to visit Charleston. We went to the beach and played in the sand and found starfish with the kids! So fun! We cooked a huge seafood dinner and then just played in the sunny weather with everyone! On Sunday, Jiddee went back to Kentucky and all the girls packed up to go to the Myrtle Beach for the week. We had a great time. the kids especially loved the lazy river, "hiding" cousin Teresa in the sand and the amusement rides at Broadway at the Beach. I loved watching the kids play with each other and wish we lived closer to family so we could play more often. As Maddie enjoyed her time in the sand and in the pools, Griffin enjoyed the soothing ocean sounds as he slept each time we took him out to the beach! So relaxing :) Thanks for a great trip girls... we will have to do it again soon.
